HILIGHT TRIBE
From 1995 to 1997, the meeting of producers (Kosmik Hoboes) in California,
our many world music encounters, a mutual desire to surf the Maha Wave and their
decision to form the Hilight Tribe brought them to Ibiza.There, the band performed it's
first concerts along with magic sunset gatherings and secret full moon parties. Influenced
by Ancient and Modern music, psychedelic and tribal sounds, Natural Trance is the vehicle
that gave them access to the best of every world. Gradually, the movement got larger and
the tribe got bigger amongst and outside the group. From sunset ceremonies in the
mountains, to Goa trance parties or weekly accoustic trance sessions under the Pont
Marie bridge, they would converge our efforts in the Natural Trance concept. Today,
3 albums have been released by Kosmik Hoboes Prod. and more than 400 gigs have been
performed, yet this is just the beginning of an amazing adventure in constant evolution !

Natural Trance is a patchwork linking modern culture with ethnic sound.
The Hiliight Tribe, five musicians and one sound doctor at the mixing desk,
play a live performance for the dancefloors of the 3rd millenium. Digeridoo, Djembe,
Guitar, Congas, Drumset or Bass , among others, come in synchronization with the Drum
kick. Travelling the world is part of the deal, that's how the band finds it's happinness,
inspirations and way of life!

Love, Medicine and Natural Trance
Les 6 membres du Hilight Tribe sont les pionniers d'une nouvelle vague qu'on appelle
Natural Trance ou Techno Accoustique.Grace a leurs instruments ethniques
et occidentaux, ces Cinq musiciens et leur technicien-son vehiculent un message destiné
a toutes les generations. Djembe, congas, didgeridoo, guitare, chants, basse, batterie
sont les elements principaux d'une mosaique d'environ 30 instruments issus des quatre
coins du monde.
Apres sept ans de voyages musicaux : Ibiza, France, Allemagne, Hongrie, Maroc, Inde,
Japon, USA, Brésil ainsi que deux albums et bientôt 300 performances, Hilight Tribe
joue actuellement son nouveau set dont l'album est sorti au printemps 2002 produit
par Kosmik Hoboes !

In the late years of the 19th century, as the Native american indians were witnessing
the final chapters of their peoples' genocide, the Hopis had a vision :
"When Earth shall be ill and that humans will have forgotten who they are, then,
members from every race of the planet will unite and form one Tribe. It will save humanity
and clean what is to be cleaned. The persons constituting this Tribe will be Rainbow
warriors"
